liquor_bike.jpgFriday, Sept. 26th - Ottobar - Liquor Bike 10 year Reunion Show!!!
We are not kidding…the Liquor Bike 10 year reunion show- w/ Landspeed
Record!
This isn’t some school type reunion where folks awkwardly mingle and
comment on how fat each other has gotten and/or how much botox work they’ve
gotten done- no sir! It’s all of the above with skull crushing rock and lots
of drinking! We may pull out a Sick song or two if we can figure out the
complex chord structures and delicate harmony interplays. On the reals.

Review: Michael Whiles / Bmore Live

bmore_live.jpgMichael Whiles over at the newly formed Bmore Live gave us a great write-up and an interview. An excerpt: “A healthy sense of humor doesn’t necessarily mean clowning around. Too often in music, humor is used to disguise a lack of talent, but nothing could be further from the truth with Pulaski.” Thanks Michael! Check out the full article here.

CANCELLED: Friday, July 25th @ Black Hole

boogerking.jpgIt is with much sadness that we report our cancellation of the Black Hole show. Roy just found out that he must attend a mandatory out-of-town work conference. All tickets for this show won’t be honored at our next performance: Friday, Sept. 25th @ Ottobar - opening up the Liquor Bike Reunion Show w/ Landspeed Record!!!

This just in: Roy faxed over the outline for his conference-

  • The 5 Second Rule vs. A dropped Whopper patty
  • Crispier Fries: Does Temperature Matter?
  • Alternate Fuels: Don’t Give Your Old Grease Away- Sell It!!!

By the looks of it, he will have his hands full. Go Roy!

Friday, July 25th - Black Hole

blackhole.jpgJoin us and Test Pattern Radio at the Black Hole Rock Club in Dundalk! This is our first time playing there…the club looks pretty cool and has a bunch of levels and such. So, make sure you can sleep in Saturday and help us rock the ‘Dalk.

Documentary Now Online!

YouTube.comOur good friend (and lyrical contributor/political advisor), Nick Kujawa, though it would be a good idea to film us making our latest record, You’re Dead To Me, I Love You. 4 years, 30 hours of film, a record recorded twice, some extra hard drives, and some tears later, “The Love and Death of Pulaski” emerged in conjunction with the record. Now, through a special deal with AardVark Audio Visual, it has been posted to YouseTube.com and embed here for your viewing pleasure- in 8 bite-size bits.

P.s. - we didn’t win the Artscape thing, though, it was an honor to be nominated. Thanks to all that voted!

City Paper Says “…Pulaski…Click”

It doesn’t get any better in Baltimore than to get an endorsement by the venerable City Paper. Even though they are owned by an out-of-town conglomerate and base their content on selling ad space in a dead-tree weekly newspaper, they are in step with all that is ART in Baltimore. So, take the advice of the City Paper and vote Pulaski for Artscape!

Vote Pulaski!

artscape.jpg Pulaski was chosen out of 40 bands to compete for a spot on the Saturn stage at this year’s Artscape! Now we need millions of votes from you — the interweb generation.

Yes, now YOU can make a difference in something that really matters!
So vote, vote, vote — early and often.

If elected, we promise to make complete fools of ourselves in from of tons of people and important, national bands.

Who do you want answering the phone at 3am?

The answer is simple — us.

Thank you for your support, fellow American.

Thursday, April 17th @ Ottobar

golden_jubille.jpgThat’s right folks…right back into the fire for Pulaski! We’re stoked to be playing the debut show for The Golden Jubilee ( mySpace) - a group made up of some vets of the incestuous Baltimore scene: Snackie Hillman, Mark Berrong, and Joe Tropea to name a few. If you’re reading this and you played in a band in Baltimore (and who hasn’t?), you’ve played with one of those guys as some point whether you were aware of it or not…in the same band, no less. Rounding out this awesome night is the ever so precious and destined to leave our ranks Abby Mott and her handsome band. Do you really need a link to the Ottobar? Ok… Ottobar on the intertubes.

Gracenote Updated

Gracenote has finally been updated to include our album’s details…so, if you’re in iTunes or any other digital player that accesses Gracenote for data (which ones don’t?), just hit “Get CD Track Names” or the equivalent. Oh the joys of modern technology.

Thank You!

We had a great time Saturday kicking our new baby into the world. It was so great to see so many loyal faces and even some new faces. A lot of folks have asked about getting a copy of the projected slideshow- we’re in the process of converting them all to YouTube- so, keep it tuned here for the links, etc…we’ll make iPod ready copies too. (Edit: ok…we added a bunch under Videos):
On the record tip- we’ll have the record out into retail soon @ Atomic Books in Hampden (+ their online store) and Sound Garden in Fells Point. We’re working on the complete digital purchase solution and will have that nailed down soon.
